Contrapunto collects no personal data. It has no account, no server and no analytics. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
Nothing leaves your device
Contrapunto is an offline game. There is no server, no account, no analytics software and no advertising software inside the app. Every décima you compose, your ladder progress, your medals, your streak and your settings are stored only in the app's own storage on your device. None of it is transmitted anywhere.
Your portrait (camera and photo library)
Contrapunto can show a small comic-style portrait of your payador. If you choose a photo from your photo library, or take one with the camera, the app converts it on your device into a comic-style line drawing and keeps only that drawing in local storage. The original photo is never copied, uploaded or sent anywhere. You can remove the portrait at any time from Settings, which deletes the drawing from your device.
Notifications
Contrapunto can remind you about tonight's pie forzado or a new rival's arrival. These are local notifications scheduled by the app itself on your device — no push service and no server are involved. They are only requested after you switch a reminder on in Settings, and you can turn them off at any time in Settings or in the iOS Settings app.
Sharing your décimas
A décima is shared only when you choose to tap Share. Sharing opens the standard iOS share sheet, and you decide where the text or image goes. Contrapunto itself does not send anything on your behalf.
Data you can delete
Resetting progress from Settings erases everything the app has stored on your device: your Cancionero, ladder progress, medals, streak and portrait. Deleting the app from your device removes all of this as well, since nothing is kept anywhere else.
Children's privacy
Contrapunto does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
